 Upcoming....
As filming (FINALLY!!) progresses on "The Barrows Man", StageFrightz is lining up the next projects.
To finish up "The Hillplains Chronicles" collection of short films (a sequel of sorts to "The Barrows Man"), we will be casting for the following films from now through February:
"The Resurrection Game" - A young lady finds an artifact which can resurrect the dead, but doesn't consider the consequences.
"Three Ghosts In My Mother's House" - A tale of rejection and loss, a man receives a late-night phone call from his aging mother who has seen three ghosts in her home. Jeff has to figure which scares him the most: the ghosts, his mother's death or his girlfriend dumping him while all of this is happening.
"Me...Alone!" - A story of independence and the uncertainties of being on your own for the first time, told through the eyes of a woman who has moved from high-crime city neighborhood to a remote country home. She soon finds out she is not alone out there.
"So I Made A Zombie Or Two..." - A man obessed with a woman tricks her into thinking she's been killed and resurrected as a zombie. Or is the trick on him?
"The Box" - A farmer must decide whether or not to open the mysterious box he finds at the end of a field.
"Models Of Perfection" - The daughter of a rich and powerful man is determined to make a name for herself on her own, but she obtains the wrong sort of "fame".
Plus, the beginning of the clown series - "Coulrophobia"...
"Smiles" - Through an unfortunate event, a woman gets stalked by a down-on-his-luck clown that falls to the dark side of clownhood. But is there someone who falls further?
The script for "A Clown Stalks The Night" is currently being written. Don't let him bite you!

 Clown Series, Upcoming Comic, Etc.
Clown Series: Soon, the search will be on, to fill the shoes of the actors for the collection of short clown-related horror films. Oddly enough (or maybe not so oddly, but things are usually odd by nature, when making horror stories), writer/director H. Joseph Ransom has since overcome his fear of clowns (coulrophobia). Should make the filming/editing easier, but will cut down on the possibilities for a groovy "blooper reel", though. More information will be posted. If that's not quick enough, send a message on the "contact" page.
Comic Book: The 12-chapter StageFrightz Productions comic (name not yet released) is well under way - in fact, the first half is almost complete! More details will be released, as the series is closer to being finished. As for the genre, it sort of skips around - from "superhero" to "monsters" to "mystery" to etc. (This was the "secret project" mentioned months ago. Sorry if anyone thought it was some wondrous, earth-changing event. Still, it should be a fun read, though. Either that, or you'll be wishing for those moments of your life back you spent looking at/reading it...)
Why Did It Take So Long To Mention????: This hasn't been mentioned before, but for months, StageFrightz has had a group on myspace.com. The address, for those who may be interested, is: http://groups.myspace.com/stagefrightz - And if no one is interested, it is still the address, regardless...
Take care & thanks again!

 Long-Overdue Update....
Thanks for checking the site. Sorry for no new news in so long. Been dealing with the "ick" in "hectic", and also trying to put "sleep" back into the StageFrightz vocabulary.
Anyway, after some computer troubles, editing is well underway again for the collection of short horror/strange tales films, "The Hillplains Chronicles".
And after much delay, filming will once again commence in the near future for "The Barrows Man". A story written for "The Hillplains Chronicles" made writer H. Joseph Ransom rethink "The Barrows Man" script and the final result should be well worth the wait. The first delay was caused when one of the actors was called to military service. The story was reworked, but didn't have the same "I-don't-know-what" to it. Now, the script is back and ready for action, much like StageFrightz itself.
